We’re thrilled to announce another sign-language-interpreted Shabbat Service and hope that you can join us as T&V’s ASL Fund, a collection of donations from people like you which has paid our interpreters for their work for 13(!) years and counting, shares with everyone an award that it won for its efforts from the Metropolitan New York District of Judaism’s Conservative Movement!

WHAT: A Service with full readings from the Torah and Haftorah (Prophets)
WHEN: 10:00 AM — 12:30 PM on Saturday, February 16th
WHERE: Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue, 334 East 14th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan
WHO: Jessica Ames & Naomi Brunnlehrman, whose work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York’s Jewish Community Deaf Interpreter Fund

A Kiddush (refreshments and social hour) will follow Services, where all will be welcome to participate.

(Please note: Out of respect for Shabbat, pen, paper and electronic devices cannot be used at T&V on Saturday morning.)

T&V’s ASL Fund is proud to have won the Schechter Award from United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism’s Metropolitan New York District for its efforts in funding ASL interpretations of Jewish Services and Life-Cycle Events for the last 13+ years.
