ASL-Interpreted Purim Night Experience

Wednesday, March 20, 2019 13 Adar II 5779

7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Wednesday, March 20

For many years, it’s been a Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org) tradition to offer an ASL-interpreted Purim Night experience with a Deaf-hearing team, and we’re doing it again in 2019 so we hope that YOU’ll be joining us then, too!

WHAT: A Service with a full reading from Megillat Esther, and a Shpiel (skit), too!

WHEN: Services start at 7:00 PM on Purim Night, Wednesday, March 20th

WHERE: Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (tandv.org), 334 East 14th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan

WHO: Jon Lamberton and Bram Weiser, with Aleksandr Rozentsvit, and their work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York’s Jewish Community Deaf Interpreter Fund

Refreshments will follow Services, where all will be welcome to participate! Also, for those so inclined, costumes are heartily encouraged, too!

For additional information, please contact Bram at bramweiser@usa.net or (212) 677-0368.

Thanks, and we’ll hope to see you there!

(Schedule is subject to change.)

P.S. Coming soon…more ASL-interpreted Services, including our annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration, and more, so please keep your eyes open for more details as they become available, or contact Bram directly to find out more!

P.P.S. ASL interpreters are available at T&V when requests are made in advance. Please contact Bram Weiser (bramweiser@usa.net) for more information.
