ASL-Interpreted Services

Town & Village Synagogue often hosts American Sign Language (ASL)-interpreted Services & Events and we hope you’ll join us!

Please JOIN us for OUR NEXT ASL-INTERPRETED SERVICES!

Shabbat Services:

  • Are generally held monthly on Saturday mornings from 9:30am - 12:00pm
  • Take place at Town & Village Synagogue, located at 334 East 14th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan
  • Include full readings from the Torah and Haftorah (Prophets)
  • A Kiddush (refreshments and social hour) follows Services, and all are welcome to participate!
  • Please note:  Out of respect for Shabbat, we ask that you refrain from using pen, paper and electronic devices at T&V on Saturday morning.  (Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our current use of Zoom is an exception to this rule so that everyone can participate in our Services.)

High Holiday Services, Holidays, and More:

In recent years, we’ve expanded our offerings to include:

  • Full High Holiday Services
  • Purim Night (with a full Megillah reading)
  • Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day)
  • Friday Night Services during Hanukkah and for “Shabbat Across America” that are followed by Community Dinners

For additional information, questions, or to request an ASL interpreter in advance, please contact Bram Weiser at bramweiser@usa.net or (212)-677-0368.

(Schedule is subject to change.)

We thank the Jewish Deaf Resource Center for their guidance and support!
