ASL-interpreted Yom HaShoah Commemoration

We're thrilled to announce that, for the eleventh time, we'll be providing ASL interpretation for the annual Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) Commemoration being presented by Downtown Jewish Life, a collection of Synagogues in Lower Manhattan that includes us at Town & Village (T&V, www.tandv.org).

• WHAT: The "hybrid" ceremony (interpreters will be in person AND visible via livestream to those who can't join us in the Sanctuary) will include remarks from Rabbis from several area Synagogues, along with songs from the Cantors and Choirs of those Synagogues, Memorial Prayers, and remarks from a Guest Speaker.
• WHEN: 7:00 PM -- 8:00 PM ET (GMT-5) on Monday, April 17th
• WHERE: Congregation Beth Simchat Torah (CBST), 130 West 30th Street in Manhattan, NOT at T&V
• WHO: Organized by Downtown Jewish Life; Interpreters are Jane Adler & Aaron Rudner, whose work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York's Jewish Community Deaf Interpreting Fund.
