ASL-interpreted Virtual Purim Night Experience

Thursday, February 25, 2021 13 Adar 5781

6:30 PM - 8:30 PMZoom

For many years, it's been a Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org) tradition to offer an ASL-interpreted Purim Night experience with a Deaf-hearing team, and we're doing it again in 2021 (albeit virtually, of course) so we hope that YOU'll be joining us then, too!

WHAT: A Service with a full reading from Megillat Esther (Yes, it's the whole Megillah! ), and a Shpiel (skit), too!
WHEN: Services start at 6:30 PM on Purim Night, Thursday, February 25th
WHERE: Your nearest Zoom-capable device; For security reasons, meeting information will be sent out a day or so beforehand to those who've responded in advance (see below)
WHO: Jon Lamberton and Bram Weiser, and their work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York's Jewish Community Deaf Interpreter Fund
RSVP: Please email Bram at bramweiser@usa.net in advance(!) with the names and email addresses of those who'd like to attend.  We'll take care of the rest!

For those so inclined, costumes are heartily encouraged, too!

For additional information, please contact Bram at bramweiser@usa.net or (212) 677-0368v.

Thanks, and we'll hope to see you there!

(Schedule is subject to change.)

P.S.  Coming soon...more ASL-interpreted Services, including our annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration, and more, so please keep your eyes open for more details as they become available, or contact Bram directly to find out more!

P.P.S.  ASL interpreters are available at T&V when requests are made in advance.  Please contact Bram Weiser (bramweiser@usa.net) for more information.
