ASL-interpreted Purim Night Experience

Saturday, March 23, 2024 13 Adar II 5784

7:45 PM - 9:45 PMTown & Village Synagogue

For many years, it's been a Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org) tradition to offer an ASL-interpreted Purim Night experience with a Deaf-hearing team, and we're doing it again in 2024 so we hope that YOU'll be joining us then, too!

WHAT:  A "hybrid" Service (interpreters will be in person AND visible on Zoom to those who can't join us in the Sanctuary) with a full reading from Megillat Esther (Yes, it's the whole Megillah! ), and a Shpiel (skit), too!
WHEN:  Services start at 7:45 PM EDT (GMT-5) on Purim Night, Saturday, March 23rd
WHERE:  Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org), 334 East 14th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan...or on your nearest Zoom-capable device (For security reasons, meeting information will be sent out a few days beforehand to those who've responded in advance as shown below)
WHO:  Jon Lamberton and Bram Weiser, with Aleksandr Rozentsvit, and their work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York's Jewish Community Deaf Interpreter Fund
TO ATTEND IN PERSON:  T&V highly encourages and strongly recommends that everyone stay up to date with their COVID vaccinations and wear masks in the building.  (Please also RSVP via email to Bram at bramweiser@usa.net to let us know you're coming.)
TO ATTEND VIA ZOOM:  Please RSVP via email to Bram at bramweiser@usa.net with the names and email addresses of those who'd like to attend.  We'll take care of the rest!

For those so inclined, costumes are heartily encouraged, too!

For additional information, please contact Bram at bramweiser@usa.net or (212) 677-0368v.

Thanks, and we'll hope to see you there!

(Schedule is subject to change.)

P.S.  Coming soon...more ASL-interpreted Services, so please keep your eyes open for details as they become available, or contact Bram directly to find out more!

P.P.S.  ASL interpreters are available at T&V when requests are made in advance.  Please contact Bram Weiser (bramweiser@usa.net) for more information.
