20th Anniversary ASL-interpreted Shabbat Morning Service

Saturday, December 13, 2025 23 Kislev 5786

9:30 AM - 12:00 PMTown & Village Synagogue

We're thrilled to announce another sign-language-interpreted Shabbat Service (marking the 20th anniversary of regular ASL-interpreted Services at T&V) -- both in-person and on Zoom -- and hope that you can join us!

WHAT: A "hybrid" Service (interpreters will be in person AND visible on Zoom to those who can't join us in the Sanctuary) with full readings from the Torah and Haftorah (Prophets), too
WHEN: 9:30 AM -- 12:00 PM ET (GMT-5) on Saturday, December 13th
WHERE: Town & Village (T&V) Synagogue (www.tandv.org), 334 East 14th Street, between 1st and 2nd Avenues in Manhattan...or on your nearest Zoom-capable device (For security reasons, meeting information will be sent out that Friday to those who've responded in advance as shown below)
WHO: Jess Ames & Craig Fogel, whose work will be underwritten thanks to UJA-Federation of New York's Jewish Community Deaf Interpreter Fund
RSVP: Please email Bram at bramweiser@usa.net to let us know you're coming, and tell us if you'll be with us in person or on Zoom. We'll take care of the rest!

A social hour for Kiddush will follow Services where all will be welcome to participate.

(Please note: Out of respect for Shabbat, pen, paper and electronic devices cannot be used at T&V's Saturday Morning Services.  However, an exception is being made for Zoom so as to make the Service accessible to those who can't be with us in person.)

For additional information, please contact Bram at bramweiser@usa.net or (212) 677-0368v.

Thanks, and we’ll hope to see you there!

(Schedule is subject to change.)

P.S.  Coming soon...more ASL-interpreted Services & Events...so please keep your eyes open for more details as they become available, or contact Bram directly to find out more!

P.P.S.  ASL interpreters are available at T&V when requests are made in advance.  Please contact Bram (bramweiser@usa.net) for more information.

*** T&V's ASL Fund is proud to have won the Schechter Award from United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism's Metropolitan New York District for its efforts in funding ASL interpretations of Jewish Services and Life-Cycle Events for the last 20 years. ***
